Eisenhüttenstadt Municipal Hospital, which is located about 30 kilometers south of Frankfurt (Oder), is a standard care hospital with more than 11,000 patients per year. In accordance with the guiding principle “Healing – Caring – Helping – Regional – Modern – Connected”, the focus is always on the optimal treatment of both outpatients and inpatients. Here, our students gain insights into various medical fields such as anesthesiology, intensive care and emergency medicine, pain therapy, internal medicine, psychiatry, psychosomatics and psychotherapy, gynecology and obstetrics, surgery, geriatrics, and pediatrics and adolescent medicine. The hospital also has five day clinics in Eisenhüttenstadt and surrounding locations, where patients receive surgical, geriatric and psychiatric care. Thus, students here have the opportunity to get to know a wide range of medical departments and gain insights into practice.
