Alexianer St. Remigius Hospital Opladen-Leverkusen offers medical specializations that are usually only found in significantly larger hospitals in Germany. Special areas of focus at St. Remigius Hospital include spinal surgery, artificial joint replacement, lung diagnostics, and colon cancer treatment. Every year, more than 13,000 inpatients are cared for here – in addition to around 20,000 outpatient treatments. More than 500 employees are committed to the well-being of the people entrusted to their care.

UMFST-UMCH students have the opportunity to experience a wide range of specialties and disciplines at Alexianer St. Remigius Hospital Opladen-Leverkusen when they complete their clinical-practical training there beginning in their third year of study.
